Siearra Mathis Ruiz is the Founder and Director of One Hour Meditations™, a national and global wellness platform that integrates trauma-informed meditation, human rights education, and strategic branding. Her work is rooted in a simple but profound belief: presence is the highest form of wealth.
With a background in advocacy and emotional restoration, Siearra has built One Hour Meditations™ into a movement that honors both healing and human dignity. She writes, produces, and instructs a growing library of guided meditations, music albums, and educational tools designed to elevate mental health as a daily ritual and a constitutional right.
Siearra’s leadership blends elegance with precision. She’s known for her ability to translate complex emotional and legal landscapes into accessible, soul-centered experiences. In addition to her role at One Hour Meditations, Siearra is a humanitarian, writer, and speaker. Siearra loves philanthropy and currently works for the Department of Child and Family Services in the state of Florida in human rights sector against exploited and human trafficked children. Creating meditation allows her to find peace while helping others through their traumatic experiences. In her spare time, Siearra enjoys spending time with her husband, bearded dragon Pablo and reading countless mystery novels.
I grew up reading various versions of the Bible, yet I often sensed that something essential was missing—an element of depth or origin that I couldn’t quite name. That feeling persisted until I discovered the Bible. Encountering its ancient translations and spiritual cadence brought a profound sense of clarity and connection. It was as if I had finally found the thread that linked my faith to its earliest expressions.
Stillness saved my life. After years of advocacy and emotional restoration, I realized peace isn’t a luxury—it’s a right. Many people seek things that only creates selfishness such as money, wealth and riches and forget that the most important thing is time. So, I wanted to be selfless with any additional time i had and make music and provide comfort for those experiencing a tough time in life. One Hour Meditations™ is really my personal love letter to mental health and human dignity that time is worth more than anything.
